About
When most people think of psychologists, they typically think of a professional who evaluates and treats people experiencing emotional or mental challenges and/or life difficulties. They use various approaches to alter unhealthy thinking and feeling, teach coping mechanisms, and help individuals replace behaviors that may be harmful or maladaptive. Where do I come in beyond that? I've been trained in a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods as well as effective alternative techniques to help you make important, positive changes in yourself and your life through building your self-understanding, insight and knowledge. Therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that requires participation and investment from the patient and therapist alike. And, in the end, making small and larger changes to self-defeating thinking and behavior and processing feelings of sadness, trauma, anger, anxiety, fear, overwhelm, stress and chronic pain/illness can bring you amazing, positive life-altering results. I'm often asked if it is worth going back and "messing" with all of the stuff from peoples' less than positive pasts? Many people simply can't move on freely after having trauma of various types. I specialize in helping those people using Ketamine assisted psycho therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting (Certified). If you are truly ready to change, feel free to contact me. I'd love to accompany you on the way!

About Mental Health Practice Providers

Mental health practices that incorporate ketamine therapy into their treatment offerings. These providers combine traditional psychiatric or psychological care with ketamine-assisted therapy for conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

What to Expect at a Mental Health Practice

At a mental health practice offering ketamine therapy, treatment is typically integrated with ongoing psychiatric or psychological care. Your provider may combine ketamine sessions with talk therapy, sometimes during the treatment itself (ketamine-assisted psychotherapy). Sessions are administered in a clinical office setting with medical oversight. The focus tends to be on the mental health context surrounding your treatment, not just the ketamine session alone.
